The app is designed to be intuitive. Play around with things, tap on buttons, explore. As a new user, there’s only a few people and projects and products visible to you.
Leave a comment in the Help & Support card (hit Intent and value 1-4 meaning you need help, 5-7 could do with some pointers, 8-9 you are happy, and 10 means you are a super-user and want to help others), or join the chat once we get enough people, or visit [email protected]. If you Support the Help & Support card, credits will be distributed to people who have been thanked — so be sure to thank the folks who help you!!
Below are various generic walkthroughs (eg with Humanity Rising), power usecases (eg Virality, 360’s, building agendas for meetings), breakdowns of specific functions (Invite Non-user, Share, Rate, Thank, etc), details of card settings, as well as a glossary (which we will try to keep up to date!).
We see Sqale as taking a step beyond UI (do you like the elegant design?), UX (do you like using the app?), to SX (do you appreciate how easy it is to achieve something together?). Most ‘social media’ keeps us in touch, chat, etc etc. SX, for Social eXperience, helps us have a conversation of action, where crowd-sourcing and crowd-funding is native. We will be providing better documentation for companies, once we complete a round of workshops, so that a team of users learn how to use Sqale to achieve social results together.
Walkthrough eg Humanity Rising
Here’s an early walkthrough for a small group of folk at Humanity Rising.
Power Usecases eg Virality
There are three main power usecases: Virality, ongoing non-intrusive valuations and bonus distribution (to replace 360’s and incentives), and pre- and post- evaluations of meetings for non-linear building of agendas.
Function Sequences eg Sharing with Non-users
A breakdown of each function into a series of linear steps, most of which are three or less button presses. The most important is sharing content with non-users of Sqale in order to share what you value with people you value, and thereby strengthen our social fabric.
Details of Card Settings (Create/Edit)
Create a Product or Project card, or edit it. There are numerous settings which Authors can edit, from title, image, sharing behaviour and so on.
